Adam Howard

As Howard Audio’s owner and “Sound Director”, Adam offers years of talent, training and industry experience.

Adam received his classical music degree from the world famous Guildhall School of Drama and Music in London and originally came to South Africa to take up the position of Principal Trumpet player of the New Arts Philharmonic Orchestra of Pretoria in 1997 and later as Principal Trumpet player of the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra.

Since then Adam has composed, arranged, produced and performed for many of South Africa’s leading musicians including Freshly Ground, Mafikozolo, Hugh Masekela and the Soweto Gospel Choir.

In 2010 Adam performed at the FIFA World Cup "Kick-off concert" with the likes of John Legend, Alicia Keys and Angelique Kidjo. Adam also lends his talents as musical director and conductor for William Kentridge, the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra and the Johannesburg Big Band, which plays host to some of the top session musicians in the country.

Adam’s diverse career and talents gives him a holistic view of the industry that shines through in his work.



Lebo Maboa

Born in Pretoria and raised in Joburg, Lebo Maboa studied Sound Engineering at the Academy of Sound Engineering in Auckland Park.

Lebo spent two years working at Sterling Sound as a final mix engineer before moving to the New Covenant Church in Bryanston to head up their music department.

An avid guitar player and music aficionado, Lebo joined Howard Audio as a sound Engineer in 2014, where he continues to use his love of sound and music to create memorable mixes.




Belinda Howard

As Head of Production, Belinda ensures all runs smoothly at Howard Audio. She interfaces with the producers at Ministry Of Illusion, making sure our clients needs are always satisfied.

Having been married to Adam for over 15 years - and even though Adam has a degree in music - she is the one who taught him how to click his fingers....true story!
